At Velvet Lux Cattery, every adoption is the beginning of a lifelong friendship. We’re so happy you’re considering adding one of our Sphynx kittens to your family!
Our process is simple, transparent, and filled with love — from the very first message to the moment you take your kitten home.

 Step 1: Apply

Start by filling out our kitten application so we can get to know you and your home. Once your application is approved, we’ll guide you through the next steps.

 Step 2: Choose & Reserve

Select your favorite kitten from our currently available little ones.
To reserve your kitten, we require a $500 non-refundable deposit, which will be applied toward the final price. This guarantees that your chosen kitten will be held just for you.

 Step 3: Join the Waiting List (optional)

If we don’t currently have available kittens, you can join our waiting list with a $50 non-refundable deposit.
This ensures you’ll be among the first to choose from our next litter, and your deposit will also be applied to the final price.

 Step 4: Payments

Our kittens stay with us until they are at least 15–16 weeks old to ensure they are healthy, confident, and well-socialized.
During this time, you’re welcome to make weekly or bi-weekly payments, or simply pay in full at pick-up — whatever works best for you.

Step 5: Pick-Up & Paperwork

At the time of pick-up, we will review and sign the Kitten Purchase Agreement and provide all necessary documentation, including health records, vaccination history, and microchip information. This ensures your new family member begins their journey with you healthy, well-prepared, and fully documented.

 Step 6: Delivery & Starter Kit

For long-distance families, we offer delivery ensuring your kitten travels safely and comfortably.
Every kitten leaves with a personalized starter kit, veterinary records, and, of course, lots of love from our cattery.
